Local free surfer from Costa da Caparica. Growing up by the sea, the ocean has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I studied and lived in Peniche – one of the world’s best surf destinations – for several years and later worked with renowned surf schools in my hometown.
I was actively involved in organizing the first QS Junior championships held in Costa da Caparica.
Today, my passion is surf traveling and discovering new waves!
Bernardo “Giló” Seabra
Part of the first generation of professional surfers who competed in and outside Portugal. He was a junior national champion and ranked in the Top 5 of the National Open. For over 10 years, he was sponsored by Billabong, one of the first major global brands to establish a presence in Portugal. He represented the Portuguese national team in two European championships.
A relentless traveler in search of the best waves, he has surfed in iconic destinations such as Hawaii, Madeira, and, most notably, Indonesia, where he spends at least one season every year.
